Straight out of a movie…
“I feel like I’m finally arriving home. Strange…”
She said “There’s a legend that says the ones who are called by Bali are meant for the island, have been chosen by it.”
Immediately it felt straight out of a movie.
It was!
My movie!!!
Let’s start by the beginning…
A really cool taxi driver that smokes and listens to rock took me to the airport. The three hours felt like 3 minutes.
I met this New Zealand cool old hippie guy, a yogi. When he and I got into the plane he pointed at this local girl and told me “She might be the one.” My sit was right beside her and I we started talking.
Extremely pleasant conversation. Really nice and cute girl. Her name is Rania. She’s a tourist guide and diver.
We spoke for hours in the plain. Actually… it was even more “coincidental” than that.
After the yogi pointed at her and we sat down and stated speaking she got my instagram and she started following me. They said that the plain had a technical issue and we actually needed to get off of it. We got out of it. She got out first and then I came after looking for her on the waiting room. I saw her and as I came closer she made a gesture for me to sit at her side. We kept talking, I offered her one of the sandwiches I had from Subway from yesterday. We kept talking like if we had known each other for years. We got called again into the plane. She went ahead. I was going through my pockets looking for my passport and boarding pass and I realized… I didn’t have it!
Minutes before Rania kept asking me if I thought that they would replace the plane for another one for us. I said I didn’t think so. But… if she was right? Then how the fuck I was going to get my passport back? Hole shit! I even forgot to mention that I didn’t had enough money to pay for the luggage because at the last minute I was told that my plane ticket didn’t cover luggage and the luggage costed me as much as the plane ticket itself! And because I took out all my books from there and dragged them around the airport with a lot of difficulty, because if not instead of 260 RM they would have charged me 500+ RM. WTF!?!? These guys are insane! But the lucky break was that right there, when I had no money and no one that I could think of like my father or Hassan that could send me the money in an instantaneous way (because when they send me money it takes a day or two to get processed) all of the sudden on my chats was writing me the G, my very own disciple, Andrea Piras. He showed up and saved the day. I told him the situation and he sent me 100€ to help me out. Tomorrow when I get paid this month from the base payment of my sales’ gig I’ll return him the money ASAP, but his help and his gesture really saved this journey and made me feel profoundly grateful.

Now where was I? Yes! Rania got back into the plane and I couldn’t because I had no passport all of the sudden. I looked everywhere and there could be no other place I could have left it behind than on my sit. And luckily 🍀 (I don’t believe in luck, this was meant to happen this way, I don’t know the rest of the story and I don’t pretend to know or make guesses like “Yeah, it’s because I was meant to be with Rania forever and ever in love” and all that bullshit, no! Of course not. I mean, there could be a romance there. Who knows? But I don’t care about none of that. It can happen as long as it’s not too much of a distraction from my mission, I’m going to Bali for a reason, I got no time to waste playing at “romance” when the only thing I am truly in love is with greatness) I had a new follower on Instagram… exactly! It was her!!! So I immediately called her on IG asking her to take a look and search for my boarding pass and passport. After some minutes of tension… she found it and another struck of “luck” got me through the day and towards my destiny. It’s like it says in the Alchemist “When you are chasing your personal legend… it’s like if the universe were constantly conspiring to help you get there.” And effectively… no matter the issues, no matter the problems… with my will I keep bending reality and every single time that a problem arises (and I’m not talking about little problems, I’m talking about problems like “I have no money and no idea of how to get it and I got to pay for the plane tickets, the visa and the taxi on top of the food for this week. What do I do? Should I start looking for comfy bridges to sleep under?” That kind of problems!) I just stay calm, have faith and keep moving forward, keep trying and do not give up. And everything turns out exactly how it had to happen for all of it to result on an epic adventure filled with profound teachings about myself. And like it said on one of the 3 maxims carved into the exterior walls on the temple of Delfos in Ancient Greece “Know thyself”. Why? Because by knowing yourself you get to know the universe. As above, so below. You are the universe, my friend.
Delusion backed up just by words it’s just delusion but delusion backed up by relentless action… that’s called faith, brother. Remember: Duty, Honor and Pride!
