Candles
How do you find the words?
Softly spoken, sometimes loud, and sometimes bold.
High flames, low flames, should it be told.
Colors glow,
and the smells have different moods.
Sandlewood reminds me of being in the woods,
while vanilla gives me comfort.
Lavender is fresh laundry; it goes perfectly with my purple dress.
Each scent holds a story.
Something like Amber humming low and steady.
Cool Breez will be my beach days.
Rose is like a memory I can't forget.
Citrus and peppermint are like sunlight sneaking into a dark room.
Baby Powered is like a newborn baby.
When the scent rises, the room changes, the mood changes.
Before you realize it.
The smells turn into confessions.
The warm Sugar smell softens the edges.
Eucalyptus clears the path inside you
you didnt know was blocked.
Candles simply gives you the hugs you need
The comfort after a hard day.
The fresh blankets you choose to lay.
The scent you choose describes the true version of you.
