Scottie Scheffler's incredible streak is over.
One of the most remarkable runs in professional golf has come to an end.
Scheffler will miss the weekend at the Scottish Open, bringing his streak of 78 consecutive made cuts to a close, the fifth longest in PGA TOUR history.
Even the best have off weeks, and that's what makes sports so compelling. Consistency at that level is incredibly difficult, which makes a streak like this even more impressive.
