Step 2: Awakening, what does it really mean?
Awakening is often advertised as something tropical,
like a final goal at the end of a “spiritual path.”In reality, it simply means the realization of your true nature.
It is called awakening for a reason: you awaken to that which has been there from the beginning(there is no beginning)
The ego, the self-concept, does not truly exist. It is an illusion that pure being fell asleep into.
It is a mental construct made from the content appearing in awareness — thoughts, emotions, and sensations.
We are not the content that appears.We are the constant in which it appears.
We are not the clouds that come and go.We are the sky in which they arise.
We fear drowning, not realizing we are the ocean itself.
This unity is experienced as unconditional love.
