First things first...
This isn't a group about selling stuff to the highest bidder.
That's part of it.
But if you hang around here long enough, you're gunna start looking at auctions VERY differently.
Because a properly run auction can do something most marketing campaigns absolutely suck at doing:
It gets your buyers to raise their damn hands.
Not by filling out a form.
Not by downloading another PDF.
Not by clicking a button that says "I'm interested."
They pull out their wallets and say "I want your stuff".
And that changes everything.
Someone bidding $500... $2,000... $5,000... $10,000...
...is telling you something about what they want, how badly they want it, and what they may be willing to spend to get the outcome they're after.
That's buyer intent.
And we're going to talk about it A LOT in here.
HERE ARE A FEW THINGS I WANT BURNED INTO YOUR BRAIN:
1. THE WINNING BID ISN'T WHERE THE MONEY IS.
This is probably the biggest mental shift you'll make in this group.
Most people look at an auction and think:
"How much did the winning bidder pay?"
I look at everybody else.
Because every serious bidder just identified themselves as somebody who WANTED THE THING.
They just didn't win.
Those aren't "losers."
Those are READY-TO-BUY-NOW leads.
And what happens AFTER the auction can be worth considerably more than the winning bid itself.
We'll spend a LOT of time talking about that.
2. WE DON'T AUCTION "STUFF." WE AUCTION OUTCOMES.
A coaching call has a price.
A course has a price.
A consulting day has a price.
But...
What happens if we build something around a transformation they already desperately want?
Now we're playing a different game.
One of the biggest things you'll learn here is how to identify what your market is already PRE-SOLD on changing...
...and then build what I call a Hero Package around that outcome.
The more difficult your package is to price-shop...
The more interesting the auction gets.
3. THE AUCTION IS A SHOW.
This one is HUGE.
You don't throw an auction post up...
...cross your fingers...
...and come back 24 hours later to see what happened.
YOU WORK THE ROOM.
You interact.
You answer questions.
You stir the pot.
You tease.
You add an enticer.
Maybe you drop another bonus.
You build curiosity.
You keep people watching.
You keep people bidding.
A great auction is part offer...
and part PERFORMANCE.
And yes...
We're going to teach you how to do that too.
4. EVERY BID IS DATA.
An auction isn't just a way to make money.
It's a freakin' market-research machine.
Who bid?
When did they bid?
How high did they go?
What part of the package got them excited?
What questions did they ask?
Where did bidding accelerate?
Where did it stall?
What happened when you added something?
And most importantly...
WHY DID THEY WANT IT?
The auction thread itself can become one of the best pieces of sales intelligence you've ever created.
Pay attention to it.
5. YOU PROBABLY HAVE WAY MORE TO AUCTION THAN YOU THINK.
This might be my favorite part.
People tell me:
"Nick, this sounds cool... but I don't have anything to auction."
Bullshit. 😂
You've probably got assets sitting around your business RIGHT NOW that you've completely forgotten about.
Old trainings.
Recordings.
Templates.
Processes.
SOPs.
Coaching.
Consulting.
Access.
Licensing rights.
Experiences.
Services.
Software.
Introductions.
Sponsorships.
Things you've created once and haven't thought about in YEARS.
Things you don't even consider assets.
We're going to change the way you look at all of it.
🚨 SO HERE'S YOUR FIRST ASSIGNMENT:
Head over to the Classroom and grab:
"172 Things You Can Auction for Cash in 24 Hours or Less — Even if You Think You've Got Nothing to Sell"
Don't just skim it looking for something you already sell.
That's not the point.
Go through it asking yourself:
"What do I already have access to, know how to do, have sitting around, or could package differently that somebody would LOVE to bid on?"
But don't just look at the list and ask "how much of this stuff do I have to sell"
Use it as an idea generator.
A list of tools you have to craft a truly desirable offer.
One that you can't possibly put a price on (therefore the bidding has no ceiling).
For example:
A Christmas light installer isn't selling installation.
They're selling the feeling of living inside a Hallmark movie.
The perfect family Christmas card.
Being the envy of the entire street.
That magical glow when you pull into the driveway.
A dog trainer isn't selling obedience.
They're selling peace of mind, and a better life with your best friend, and never apologizing for your dog at the front door again.
A community consultant isn't selling advice.
They're selling a complete business in a box, with every tech headache already removed and a clear path to money.
A restaurant isn't selling a meal.
They're selling a night people will still be telling stories about in five years.
The ultimate flex for a special occasion.
That's the muscle I want you to start building.
Because once you start seeing your business through the auction lens...
It's damn near impossible to stop seeing opportunities.
And that's when this gets REALLY fun.
