Preparing to create some VFX driven ad content for my studio.
Hey brother, I’m getting prepared to create some VFX fuelled ad content for my studio and I was hoping to get some advice from you. I have some strong ideas for what I want to do and some thoughts on how to achieve it but integrating VFX with real footage is pretty new to me it’s actually what really drove me to your channel and community. I want to create several short ads that have myself explaining the services my studio offers. One section I want to create will have me holding a box, a want to have a magical little creature fly over and remove the lid from the box and fly away off screen with it, at that moment I then want some examples of classic motion graphics, hyper motion graphics, static advertising, and a visual representation of a soundscape to pop out of the box and populate the screen around me as I explain these different services. I will create these individual assets prior to making the ad but I’m still trying to wrap my head around pulling them all together into one scene. Maybe you can sanity check my thought process on this and give me some advice based on all the tests you’ve done.
My first thought is to create the master plate shot of me holding the box and explaining each service timed and time coded in sequence. Then using Seedance 2.0 or 2.5 dropping any day now, provide the backplate shot and each individual asset with a very detailed prompt describing each asset popping out of the box and populating the predetermined areas of the screen. Another idea that might simplify this would be to use Higgsfields supercomputer to curate all these assets and build the final sequence. I know this is an ambitious sequence to try and achieve but I think it can be done with the tools we have access to now. If I were using all static graphics I might just create graphic overlays in DaVinci and keyframe animate them in place but I want these assets to be alive and in motion as I explain them. That may end up being part of the final workflow somehow but I’d love to try and achieve this using AI first. If I were to create each animated asset on a neutral background then mask the background in the videos leaving a clean alpha channel behind the animations then overlaying the animations in Resolve might actually work. The animated moment each element pops out of the box is the biggest hurdle to nail I think. I’ll attach a small test video I made last night just to give you an idea of the aesthetic I’m after. This sequence definitely lives right on the limits of my current skillsets so any thoughts or advice you have for me would be greatly appreciated.
