Devin - The Autonomous Coder [NEWS]
Cognition Labs just showed off Devon, the first AI software engineer that can do software engineering work by itself. This includes planning and doing projects using tools like a command line, code editor, and browser.
Devon has shown it can pass engineering interviews, finish jobs on Upwork, and learn on its own from guides to tackle hard problems. This big step forward is moving us towards AI agents that can manage businesses by themselves, offer custom ways to automate tasks, and change the way we work. This development shows off advanced thinking, planning skills, and suggests a future where AI can handle tasks on its own, maybe changing industries and jobs.
