Because I realize most of you don’t want to hear about this, but I must speak up (and now I will drop the topic unless someone sends me a personal chat). 1- These first 3 links are an example of the kinds of articles Gerry McGovern on LinkedIn is sharing, sometimes multiple articles/day on environmental impact. He also posts on the issues of disposal of poisonous electronic waste, the harms of rare earth mining (for digital devices) in poor countries, harms and resistance of indigenous people all over the world to mining, dumping of waste, and data centre construction to fuel AI and crypto. This is an ecological disaster (on top of the one we already had!)
