I wanted to share a quick story. 20 years ago I gave a small sculpture to a friend for their wedding. Because I am taking my art to the next level I contacted her to see the condition of it and I need to properly brand my logo onto it, cert of authenticity as it currebtly has no signature. She is very excited that I will be having a show this year. More interesting was her teenage son's reaction as I was leaving with the sculpture in hand. He excitedly asked me if I was going to put their sculpture into the art show NFS. I can't properly describe his reaction when I said that I would consider doing that. He was just so excited for such a simple gesture because to non artists, art is a very mysterious and special thing. The point of the story is that we rarely know how much the art will affect people - especially young ones. Make it, get it out there and trust that it is doing good out in the world. πŸ˜€
