Welcome to Day 2: Define Your Niche & Right Buyer
This one is so important because "If you try to sell to everyone, you are going to sell to no one" and this is a big thing for every single business, but also crucial for artists!
Look at Drew he build his whole art career around painting surf boards and he even said he wants to become the best well known surf artists which he became, and only after years of success in this field he started exploring a new niche around sacred geometry.
Task:
- What kind of art do you create? Be specific. “Abstract paintings” is too broad, what makes yours unique?
- Who is your right buyer? Describe them.
- If someone asked you what you do in one sentence, what would you say? Example: I create large, textured abstract paintings that symbolize transformation and growth.
Motivation:
Trying to appeal to everyone means you connect with no one. The clearer you are, the easier it is to attract collectors who love what you do.
