The View From My Roosevelt Row Balcony
I've been thinking a lot about what happens to society in 10 years with AI emergence.
This view certainly helps with inspiration. :)
There are many Skool communities around AI, but few that are around gathering people together.
I appreciate that!
AI is becoming increasingly accessible, but a large population still isn't on board. I anticipate the separation will become more aggressive very soon. Companies are already shifting their resources and org structures around to take advantage.
Soon, in person events and activities will re-emerge. Communities will place a higher importance on taking relationships offline. A resurgence of "feeling feelings" and a call to consciousness (I hope).
One of the main issues I foresee is a lack of purpose. People who create their identity and worth around their career and worldly success.
What happens when people become largely obsolete in economic terms?
I'm leaning into AI; building workflows is fascinating to me and I'm able to provide a lot of value to my company.
But I also find myself saying "it's okay to go offline."
I'm more intentional about spending time with family and friends. Doing the "unscalable" things. Going on more adventures, or even just being bored... together.
Curious how you're thinking about your life, about society, and what it means to be human in this bizarre, exciting time.
