Important gameplay info/mechannics
Core Gameplay Tips
- It’s an extraction shooter first: Surviving and extracting matters more than kills. Greed gets you wiped.
- PvE is the main threat early: ARC machines hit hard and attract attention—fighting them carelessly often brings other players.
- Sound is everything: Footsteps, gunfire, and ARC activity travel far. Move slowly when close to points of interest.
Combat & Survival
- Pick fights carefully Third-partying is common—assume someone heard you. Avoid long fights unless you’re confident or need loot.
- Armor & healing matter more than DPS A weaker gun with good positioning beats strong weapons in the open.
- Use verticality High ground is huge against both ARCs and players.
Loadouts & Gear
- Cheap runs are smart Don’t overgear early; you’ll die a lot while learning maps and AI behavior.
- Bring utility Grenades, scanners, or movement tools often matter more than another gun upgrade.
- Know what you can afford to lose Gear fear slows progression—run what you can replace.
Map & Movement
- Learn landmarks, not just loot spots Knowing fast exits and safe rotations saves runs.
- Extraction zones are danger zones Assume they’re watched; arrive late, scan, and don’t linger.

- Don’t sprint everywhere Walking reduces noise and lets you react faster.
