The Journey Continues
“It ain’t about how hard you can hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take, and keep moving forward.”
— Rocky Balboa
For a long time this page was all about chasing bigger numbers, heavier lifts, and building as much muscle as possible.
That chapter of my life made me who I am, and I’m grateful for it. But life has a way of forcing you to evolve.
Kidney disease changed my direction, but it didn’t take away my purpose.
Not everyone is going to understand this version of me, and that’s okay. Some people only followed for bodybuilding. Some will lose interest because the message has changed.
Screw it.
I’d rather be authentic than try to be someone I’m not anymore.
If my journey can show even one person battling kidney disease, chronic illness, or any setback that life isn’t over, then sharing it is worth it. Progress doesn’t always look like PRs and trophies. Sometimes it’s showing up for another day, taking care of your health, and refusing to quit.
Your best is yet to come. 💙
