Why I started Anchored in Grace.
I've been to the small groups. I've made so-called friends in those groups. We exchanged numbers and a week later, nothing. The texts stopped .The calls stopped. I was left with wondering what the heck is wrong with me. I've looked up to the people in the church. Never do that. By the way, just look up to Jesus. The preacher's wife,youth director, Etc. Every one of those people let me down every single one, every single time. When you're joining a church or looking to join a church and the church is about love and Jesus. All you want to do is feel that love, but as I always say, people will people. They always do. What did I do I got upset and to be honest with you, I wanted to punch them all in the face and cuss them out, which is not very Christian, is it? Through all of that, God met me where I was... In that dark place, and I decided to stay in church, not for the people, but for my walk with Jesus to become stronger.
