You Are Allowed To Be Paid — My Truth
The Moment I Gave Something Away That Deserved To Be Paid For:
I was asked to do a favor and sing for someone’s mother just because it was a family affair and usually saying no without pay I gave in this one time only so I could finally say I’m no longer available using my Heart Issue as great excuse to have them leave me alone . Now instead of bothering me to sing they at least are checking if I’m ok however knowing how people can be , if all goes well and I’m better I’m sure they will try again
Where The Lie Came From:
I’ve always heard we shouldn’t charge family and close friends . Well that is not an issue for my family because I’m not near them so they don’t ask . However close friends is a NO unless they also in turn play for my needs for free .
My Permission Statement:
I was very happy to change my being too nice to demanding respect and if anyone doesn’t like it , Oh well it is what it is . I’m tired of ALLOWING myself to be used
