I just want to encourage someone who might be struggling with ungating or finding auto-ungated products.
If there’s a brand you really want to sell, please don’t be afraid to reach out — either directly to the brand or to a recognised wholesaler. When I first started sourcing as an Amazon FBA seller, I was nervous too. I worried about being rejected. I overthought everything.
But here’s what I learned — you won’t know unless you try.
I recently placed an order that had multiple brands on one invoice. One brand was approved immediately with no issues. The others on the same invoice were declined. Instead of giving up, I contacted the wholesaler and asked if they could issue separate invoices per brand.
After a few days, I resubmitted properly and was successful.
Why am I sharing this?
Because the most important step in ungating is working with reputable wholesalers or suppliers. Buy correctly. Get a proper invoice (preferably PDF). Make sure your business details match your seller account. Then upload confidently.
If you get rejected, don’t panic. Read the rejection email carefully. Amazon usually tells you exactly what was missing. Fix it. Reapply.
This business rewards persistence.
Don’t let one “no” make you stop. One approval can change your whole Amazon journey.
Hope this helps someone today 🙏✨
Keep pushing. Your breakthrough might be one application away.
