First Sale and VAT Registration

Thank you for all the support. I made my first sale and I got a message some days after that I had violated a policy. I followed through by chatting with the support and I was told it was because an invoice was not provided when the sale was made. They adviced me to register for amazon VAT calculation service. But the challenge is am not VAT registered yet, I made my research and I saw that I should register when my returns exceed £90000. What do you advice?
