Sooo.... I was looking for a way to get engagement in my Skool community so I started marketing my free weekly meetup on the social platform for my ideal clients. Today I'm hosting a virtual meeting that covers my free lead magnet.
I'm curious what ya'll think about this...
My goal is for people to join my community and start chatting there. I'm requiring people to join my community in order to get the details to join the virtual meeting. I will also promote my community in the virtual meeting. The alternative was giving them the meeting details without having them join the community and just promoting the community in the chat.
What do ya'll think about all of this? Do you think it's a solid strategy? So far, I've only had one person out of 20 people that responded join the community for this event. He also paid me. I requested donations, but the event is free to join as long as they get the info from my Skool community calendar.
The event detail marketing page is attached if you'd like to see.
