so far in the process of tutorial design

hey there altruistic silver here coming at you with a cricut design space tutorial to create your own shirt design.

For this one we're gonna keep it simple and just stick with words and a change of fonts

so the first step we have to do is open up design space, the current version 9.30.65,

select new project in the top right corner, click on blank canvas.

itll then pop up with a new screen with many different tools and images to use.

click on the text symbol "T" at the left side. when you do itll pop up a textbox with the word text

click off to the side of the word within the grid. you can now click and drag the corners and expand the size of the words.

we can mess with the size later

for now we can change to any of the fonts provided with cricut design space

and since Halloween is the next big holiday for me ill find a creepy font

lets click the dropdown menu under the word font in the top menu right above the grid on the left

i chose "bfc ghoul town"

next we want to type something spoopy

double click the box and type in "ghouls with tools"

double click outside the box and notice on the right side the layers tab

now since nothing is high-lighted here that means that no parts of your canvas are currently selected.

you can now click on the text in the layers tab or the one on the canvas to start manipulating your text box

lets try and crop the text box to right outside the edges of the words.

now depending on how you typed it there can be unevenness to your phrase's design

this is a rough draft and hopefully you can copy to a "T"

Alex Hormozi says its easiest when you can read along to things your hearing so i figured id try that out here. and everyone learns differently.
