Courage to Ask to Join My Podcast
Yesterday I did a podcast interview with a high performer, successful serial entrepreneur from Melbourne but in Bali. It’s 1.5 years ago I met him in Bali and found him fascinating from the start. Then we started hanging out as friends, so I didn’t have the courage to ask him to be on my interview…
1) I thought my followers aren’t enough nor am I big enough yet compared to his successes and he’s a huge podcaster too!
2) Also, I didn’t want to mix private and work as I was overthinking it’s not appropriate!
Finally, when I knew we may meet in Bali soon, I had the courage and told myself “F*CK IT”, let me ask him! I should have done it earlier, right? There’s nothing I can lose, only win!
It was such a cool podcast interview next to the swimming pool. Plus we had a great hang out as friends.
Reminder to myself: We are good enough!! We just need to have the courage and do it! A no is a step closer to something that serves us or otherwise we learn from it 💪
