Possible to switch niche? Should I?

Hey all! I have a page in the fishing niche with about 55k followers. It is monetized.

I had made about $150 over a few weeks but then I got some feedback from another “coach “ that my content was all wrong. I was doing primarily fishing related memes, funny photos etc based on Analysis of top posts from other similar pages but his feedback was that the meme stuff was too off topic to really get good engagement.

After being derailed for a week or so now I’m just aggravated.

Thoughts on best content approach? Should I try to switch niches? I assume that would take quite a bit to get the audience re-warmed up.
