Your AI Surface Pattern Course now includes access to the Pattern Design Lab! This hands-on tool helps you put your lessons into practice and develop your pattern ideas.
With the Lab, you can:
- Build Midjourney prompts by choosing your subject, style and arrangement, with --hd included.
- Explore 25 color palettes or create your own using color pickers and hex codes.
- Try new variations to see how different colors and layouts change your design direction.
- Preview repeating patterns to spot unwanted lines, gaps and awkward spacing.
- Repair thin white edge lines and touch up small marks, then download a cleaned PNG.
- Save and export favorite prompts to build your personal collection.
- Draft titles, descriptions and tags for your finished designs.
The Lab helps you plan and refine your patterns; image generation happens separately in Midjourney. Saved prompts stay in your browser, so export a backup to keep them.
