Here’s how👇
Google SEO feels like planting a tree.
AI search feels like microwaving a burrito.
The new goal isn’t “rank #1.”
It’s: get cited.
Do this:
1️⃣ Go to Perplexity and type 10 real questions your buyers ask (full sentences)
2️⃣ Look at the citations in the answer (that’s your “who’s winning” list)
3️⃣ Write a page that answers ONE question fast: answer in the first 2 sentences
4️⃣ Keep it clean: short paragraphs, clear headers, no fluff, no robot talk
5️⃣ Add trust: link out to good sources (AI likes content that cites sources)
6️⃣ Post it on a high-authority site first: LinkedIn / Medium / Quora (parasite SEO, but legit)
7️⃣ Test it: search the same question tomorrow and see if you got cited
8️⃣ If not: rewrite the first 2 sentences, add a better example, and tighten headings
9️⃣ Update monthly. Fresh content wins in AI search. Old content gets benched.
That’s it.
Be the best answer. Be easy to quote. Be recent.
