Voice DNA
Dear Daniel,
I have a question:You once told me to adjust my voice DNA a little, and I did that. But I also have a few songs that I created before, and I actually like them as they are. Now I’m experimenting with how I can improve the vocals in those older tracks.
For example, I had a track I made one or two months ago. I didn’t like the instrumentation anymore, so in the Studio I separated the vocal, created a new instrumental, and then made a cover version using the new voice DNA and the new music. This is what came out of it.
So here’s my question:I still have a few songs I really like, some of them already on my TikTok channel. And I actually like them the way they are. What’s the best approach if I want all my songs to have the same vocal melody or the same vocal style?
The first song is the old version, and the second one is the new cover. What do you think? I sometimes have a problem: I like a certain song, but I don’t know what style it is. I want to create something similar — in terms of style — but I can’t figure out the exact genre. When I ask ChatGPT, it often doesn’t match. Do you have any ideas on how to identify the style more accurately?
