Hey everyone! ๐
First, a big thanks to Daniel โ he's the one who inspired me to seriously start with Claude Code. If you haven't been following his work, you should.
If you've been using Claude Code for a while, you probably already have your own CLAUDE.md setup โ stick with it. But if you're just getting started and staring at a blank project wondering "where do I even begin?" โ I built a starter template that might help.
What's inside:
- A CLAUDE.md with 66 lines covering tech stack, conventions, and project rules
- A settings.json with sensible defaults
- A FIRST-PROMPTS.md with 10 battle-tested starter prompts
- .claude/rules/ and .claude/skills/ folder structure ready to extend
It won't replace your own setup as you grow โ but it gives you a solid foundation instead of figuring out the basics from scratch.
Clone it, rip out what you don't need, and make it yours. ๐
Would love to hear what you think โ or what you'd add to a starter template. Drop it below
