Good afternoon from sunny South Africa
My name is Fanie Terblanche. I work for Merchants South Africa, a leading contact centre outsource company, which is part of NTT Ltd, a leading global technology services company. I am a team of one, managing our intranet, which also serves as our knowledge system and document management platform. We have 808 full time employees in operational and support roles, and +/- 4000 contact centre agents (contracted employees) across three countries - South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. I perform all of the following roles as custodian of our intranet, except for UI/UX Designer (I was told my designs look like they were done by an IT person 🤣) - web developer, back-end developer, system administrator, DevOps engineer, content manager, copy writer, communications specialist, project manager and business analyst. My ten-for-the-price-of-one role can be very stressful at times, if not overwhelming. Time to find out what AI can do for me.
