$227,100.00 - $378,700.00

The job
We are looking for a forward-thinking AI Technologist to join our AI Investigation and Incubation team. This role involves researching, prototyping, and evaluating emerging AI technologies to drive innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and a passion for exploring new frontiers in AI.
Key responsibilities
- Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and methodologies.
- Prototype AI solutions and assess their feasibility for industrial applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to explore new AI applications.
- Stay current with AI research and industry trends to inform long-term AI roadmaps.
- Document technical findings and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support the integration of AI technologies into pilot projects and proof-of-concepts.
- Investigate and recommend AI implementation and architectural approaches for industrial AI solutions
Essential requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in AI research, development, or technology scouting with 3+ years in hands-on AI/ML model development/deployment.
- Expertise in Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace)
- Deep understanding of AI/ML deployment architectures and strategies.
- Up-to-date understanding of modern AI technologies including foundation models, agents, model context protocol, etc
- Experience leading technical investigations or cross-functional initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with AI model development, evaluation, and deployment.
- Ability to envision the future of AI and its impact on industrial sectors.
