Whether you're a student juggling assignments, a solopreneur wearing multiple hats, or a business owner looking to work smarter, having the right AI tools can make a real difference. Here's what I use every day to run my agency, manage projects, and get things done.
The Tools I Rely On
Notion – My Digital Workspace
Notion is where everything lives: my projects, tasks, content calendar, and client work. It's basically my second brain.
What makes it special: Notion has AI built right in. You can access Claude, Gemini, and GPT models directly inside your workspace and ask them to complete tasks without switching tabs.
Example: I keep my content calendar in Notion, and when I need to brainstorm blog post ideas or rewrite a draft, I just ask Notion AI to help – all in one place.
Note: I'll share more about Notion AI features in future posts.
Google AI Studio – My Go-To for Gemini Models
I'm a big fan of Google's Gemini models, and Google AI Studio gives you access to all of them in one place.
What I use it for: Learning new concepts, writing code, rewriting content, and experimenting with different AI capabilities.
Why I like it: It's clean, straightforward, and great for both quick questions and deeper work.
Mistral AI (LeChat) – The Hidden Gem
This one's underrated. Mistral is a French company with a platform called LeChat that works similarly to ChatGPT.
What it offers: Pretty much the same capabilities as ChatGPT – chat, create, problem-solve – but with Mistral's powerful models.
Why I mention it: It's always good to have alternatives, and Mistral's models handle certain tasks really well.
Microsoft Copilot – My Workplace Assistant
Since my entire workspace runs on Microsoft (email, meetings, documents), Copilot is tightly integrated into everything I do.
What I use it for: All my workplace-related tasks – drafting emails, summarizing meeting notes, creating documents, and managing my calendar.
The advantage: It works seamlessly across all Microsoft apps, so I can get AI assistance wherever I'm working without switching platforms.
What About ChatGPT and Claude?
You might be wondering: "Wait, you don't use ChatGPT or Claude?"
I do! But I primarily use them through their API rather than directly on their platforms. This means I access their capabilities through other applications and workflows I've built, rather than going to their websites each time.
*Don't worry if "API" sounds technical – think of it as using these AI models behind the scenes in custom tools. We'll explore this more as we progress in the community.*
Beyond These Core Tools
These are my main AI tools, but I also use various other business tools for my agency and client work. We'll dive into those as we move forward in this community.
