Jewelry Services will be KEY in the New Financial System
JEWELERS - I recently did some "boots on the ground research" in Frederick, MD, to get an idea of how some business owners market themselves - especially in lesser known, yet affluent communities.
The City of Frederick is about 45 minutes outside of Washington D.C., and you probably haven't heard of it. Think: Classic, small American city founded in the mid-1700's. Lots of shopping, restaurants and brownstone townhomes now.
With that said, this was a HOT BED of Jewelry Businesses. I walked by 6 different businesses in close proximity - and noticed something that will be important for the upcoming shift in the Global Financial System...
Pictured below, InBloom Jewelry had containers outside their storefront with QR-code loaded cards.
Notice how easy it would be to anchor an eCommerce Store to one of these cards - which could be used for Direct Mailer as a marketing strategy.
Also - see how they have a card promoting SERVICES, also with a QR code - which could bring the Customer deeper into their online world.
When you see these Services, you should be thinking 2 things:
1. Stability: This will always be a reliable face-to-face Customer Acquisition method that will allow this business owner to build relationships while earning a small service fee. This could lead to no-touch eComm purchases later on.
2. Versatility: When the new Financial System arrives - we don't know how the Price of Gold will impact Retail Sales in Jewelry, but as this stabilizes, Repair work and Heirloom Customwork should remain consistent.
JEWELRY REPAIR is one of the key sticking points a Jewelry Business Owner MUST have in place to have control of their Brand when they make the leap to eComm. That can be built on a solid foundation of providing a timeless service to your community.
