💡 — Your Parent's “Normal” May Have Changed
Here's something caregivers don't talk about enough:
Sometimes you don't notice a problem because you've slowly adjusted to it.
You think:
“Mom has always been forgetful.”
“Dad has always been unsteady.”
“They've always been tired.”
But ask yourself:
Is this actually their normal—or has their normal changed?
A change in:
• Memory
• Balance
• Appetite
• Mood
• Sleep
• Hygiene
• Ability to manage everyday tasks
may be worth bringing to their healthcare provider.
You don't need to diagnose what's happening.
Simply notice the change and communicate it.
Your observations matter.
