🩺— Stop Saying “I’ll Remember That.”
If you've ever walked out of a doctor's appointment and realized, you can't remember half of what was discussed…
You're not alone.
Here's a simple trick:
📱 Use your phone's notes app before the appointment.
Create three sections:
BEFORE:
What has changed since the last visit?
DURING:
What questions do we need answered?
AFTER:
What are we supposed to do next?
This simple habit can turn a stressful appointment into a much more productive conversation.
And remember:
You don't have to understand every medical term the first time you hear it.
Ask them to explain it in plain language.
That's not being difficult.
That's being an advocate.
