The truth is that most of us go to jobs or do daily tasks that we don't enjoy doing.
It's not easy to constantly do something you do not enjoy.
However, the verse above challenges us to give our best, despite the task.
We give to whatever work we do because God is watching us, especially as believers.
This is a challenge for us to give all that we have to our jobs and other tasks that we find "beneath us."
If we are not giving the best effort to something that is not as enjoyable, how can we be trusted with that dream job, booming business, or exquisite home.
Let us take heed to give great effort because we want to please God.
We are not mediocre and shouldn't treat ourselves as such.
