I am a very intentional person. I’ve always stood out in a crowd, group, and in my community for more reasons than one. Being 6’8 that’s very easy, my reason for saying this is my stature helps me greatly in our line of work it’s a conversation starter. I often am asked are you a basketball player, are you an athlete, did you play professional sports and my answer to all three is yes.
What your conversation starter? What’s that one unique thing about you that allows for conversation to happen and often times opens doors for you to speak about your practice? Is there anything you cling to that gives your presence in a room that opens you up to touch points about your practice? What about you makes it easy for you to be approachable? If you are brand new to the industry of financial services what exactly is making it either easy or difficult to build your practice? What ways would you like help in truly breaking into this industry?
I truly encourage everyone to engage, introduce your practice to the community, ask questions, make comments, interact with your peers, someone here in this community could have the conversation language to unlock the growth you’re looking for to jumpstart your practice.
