In Sault Ste. Marie, many of our most beautiful campsites aren't perfectly flat. For a rental pro, "close enough" isn't part of the logistics. If your trailer isn't level, it’s not just about comfort—it’s about your equipment’s health.
The #1 Leveling Hack: Beyond the Eyeball.
Your RV refrigerator actually relies on gravity to circulate its cooling fluids. If you're significantly unlevel for more than a few hours, you risk a permanent (and expensive) cooling system failure. Plus, your shower won't drain and your sleep will suffer.
The Pro Tip: The Digital Level.
1. Trust the Tech: Use a leveling app (like the one shown in today’s image) on your phone. Place it on the floor or the dinette table to get an exact measurement of how many inches you need to rise on the left or right.
2. Block Before You Unhitch: Always get your side-to-side leveling perfect using blocks under the tires before you disconnect from the truck.
3. The Final Tweak: Once unhitched, use the tongue jack to get your front-to-back level dialed in.
