Don’t Run Away
- Don’t run away—Christ guards your life,
- He will never leave your soul behind.
- Stay the course—don’t stray left or right,
- God walks with you, defending through the fight.
- So dry your tears, clutching your pillow tight—
- Jesus shines through even the darkest night,
- Driving away every fear and fright.
- Look to the Son who stands in your place,
- Wiping the sorrow that streams from your face.
- Pray in His house of eternal grace,
- Where the Spirit burns sin with holy flame,
- Redeeming the broken, restoring your name.
- Wake up, sleeper—arise to the light,
- Call on His name, and watch wrong turn right.
- Feel hatred dissolve, let His love remain—
- He bore the cross to break every chain.
- The path to Yahweh? He paved it with pain,
- So mercy could triumph and grace could reign.
