Have you seen some thousand years ago, how a man on cross was hung?
Charged for the sins of humankind, every sinners name he sung
Just for one to believe in his heart and confess with his tongue
If he believes, in the man on the cross, salvation will be his rung!
Look at all the books, and pages of wisdom on your lap,
Dig in deeper to find some truth, the glorious light you'll tap.
When one soul finds that light, in heaven the angels clap,
Weakens the devil's kingdom, by the powerful gospel slap.
Gracious are the feet of those that carry this gospel ahead.
Saves souls in a blink of belief, even those in death bed.
Some have missed the gospel and in tomb they're laid,
What keeps you away? Come believe, you'll no more be the devil's maid!
