ADHD Hack: Become an Environment Engineer
If you have ADHD, your brain’s “manager” part isn’t working well.
So let’s assume the worst:
– Your memory isn’t great
– You lose track of time
– You get distracted easily
– You feel overwhelmed
– You’re often late
Your most important job right now?
Become an Environment Engineer.
What does that mean?
Start paying really close attention to your surroundings—your phone, your desk, your clothes, your bathroom, your computer, even the people around you.
Why? Because your environment shapes your behavior.
ADHD brains often look to the outside world for cues on what to do next—because the inside (executive function) isn’t giving clear directions.
Yes, ADHD comes with awesome things like creativity and hyperfocus. But we still need strong systems to support the parts that are harder.
👉 What changes have you made to your space or routine that helped you the most?
