Off Leash Trail Areas 🐕🐩

Multi user areas can be soooooo tricky … so this was refreshing to see! There is also apparently a sign with dog owner guidelines which is more common.

This is in Vancouver Island. Qualicum. Our Community Park off-leash trails are places where people and dogs can enjoy nature together. To keep the trails safe and fun for everyone, follow these simple guidelines:

✅ Expect dogs running, playing, and barking

✅ Announce yourself when passing from behind (“coming up behind”)

✅ Slow down or walk when approaching dogs

✅ Avoid aggressive behaviour toward dogs

✅ Use caution at blind corners
