A Fever is your friend
One of most parent's first fears is a fever... But have you ever considered that the body is not random, but rather self preserving... meaning the body is constantly trying to right itself when out of balance and sometimes that means it MUST burn off a poison - like a virus, bacteria, or other pathogen... so that means you should actually assist not hinder the body in bursting or breaking the fever. But how? first hydrate, drink water, or soak in a warm bath with epsom salts to stay hydrated -even if you are unable to drink. remain in the tub until you feel you can urinate. also there are 2 types of fevers, each has a slightly different technique to both make the best of and break.. watch the winter wellness workshop next week for more on this! see you then!
