You're an OG of a community that exists to help you gain more portrait clients, serve a wonderful population (preschool families), and create magical images. Let's get to know each other! Comment below sharing where you are in the world and something you like to do for fun. 😊 I'll get us started. I'm in the greater Washington DC area, specifically Sterling VA. If you fly into Washington Dulles International Airport, you'll see my studio! For fun, I love eating lots of different kinds of food and drinking the double shot lattes my husband makes me.

@Robin Sgambati it’s definitely hard for people to get their minds around it but headshot, family, preschool, senior, pretty much all are the same set of skills. Great pictures on your website. Super happy to meet you!

I know we have members in Australia and we'll have future evening US Eastern Time calls to make sure it's easier for you all to join in. Your input for call times help me figure out the best times for you. Although right now is the best time to be gearing up for fall prep and planning here in the US, it's ALWAYS the best time to be prepping, planning, optimizing, and marketing. Thank you @Robin Sgambati it was great to meet you ❤️ Quick tip that I forgot to mention for beginners, if any of the schools tell you that their photographer just retiring or just retired, act very quick to find that photographer and offer to buy over their contracts :) I did that last year, added a lot of work on my plate but it developed me greatly! If I were to begin from scratch again, I would likely build my website and SEO first with all the suggestions from ChatGPT and then start knocking doors and cold calls. Sending postcards also sound like a good option.
