Thought Id jump into it and make a quick vid of making breakfast, Im not intending to make food content, I just used this as an exercise to create something and open Davinci Resolve to edit something.. Through this I learnt: - I can make content - How fast cuts from each scene need to be for my intended pacing/ something engaging - The importance of planning a shoot - super crucial for intended execution - How camera angles are so important to make something look good - Planning is key - Exaggerating movements and natural sounds to enhance engaging visuals I need to learn how to incorporate sound into Davinci as for this vid Im just using audio recorded through camera. I'll Keep posting content I make as practice exercises here as a centralised bank of my progress of shooting content and editing content. Hopefully this can be a sign of encouragement for y'all fellow beginners to just make anything don't matter how long or short you'll be surprised what you learn by doing. GAME ON 🫡 🤝

Boys, after hours of trying to figure out why my Videos looked so washed out after i exported from Davinci, i've finally found the one thing that was making the difference. This one Setting is extremely important: Go to DaVinci Resolve → Preferences → General → Enable “Use Mac Display Color Profiles for Viewers.” → Restart Resolve. This will make sure that what you see on your Davinci preview, corresponds to what iphone users will see on instagram, tiktok etc.
