Salvation Is Not Your Finish Line
I love the promise of a Zoe life - the kind of life where you're actually living in the fulness of what it means to follow Christ. Reading Joshua reminded me of how much the Israelite story mirrors ours today. Canaan was always the goal. God didn't just deliver the Israelites from Egypt so they could wander, he was leading them to a land of milk and honey. In the same way, salvation isn't about just being rescued from sin but stepping into the fulness of life in Christ. The tragedy here is many believers don't learn this and settle for a wilderness experience, content with deliverance but never walking in possession of everything Christ has apportioned. Just as Israel needed Joshua to lead them into Canaan, we need Jesus, our true Joshua, to lead is unto God's rest. And just like Canaan, the fulness of Christ doesn't come without battles. The Israelites faced seven nations standing in their way. We face spiritual opposition too, forces designed to keep us from experiencing all God has promised. But how amazing to remember that every single enemy you'll every face has already been defeated in Christ! Now if you're wondering "well if that's true, then where's my inheritance?" Remember, fulness isn't handed to the passive but received to the believer who hungers, presses in, and through faith explores new boundaries to take hold of what Jesus has already secured. The thing that you fear the most? The sin you just can't seem to shake? The fulness of Christ is on the other side. To God Be The Glory, Tolu
Still in Shock at What God Did Yesterday
Hi all, I wanted to share a quick testimony about God's provision that happened this week. I work in tech sales, and quarter-end is always stressful, especially when it hasn’t been a great quarter. Last year I was the top corporate sales rep in my company, so having a tough quarter hit me hard since I’ve always wrestled with tying my identity to performance. Heading into the final two weeks, I had two huge deals that looked like they had almost no chance of closing. Honestly, I was hesitant to even pray about it, I mean does the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob really care about sales deals? If he does, what if my competitor is also a Christian praying for the same thing? Still I shared it with my Church recovery group and with my wife who all laid hands on me and prayed. Fast forward to the very last day of the quarter (8/29)… both deals came in within an hour of each other. I’m still in shock. Whether those prayers were answered in the way I hoped or not, God is still good but if it wasn’t for the faith of others, I don’t think I would have had the faith to ask Him for help. My prayer is that this community becomes a place where we can lay “digital hands” on each other, and borrowing each other's faith as God covers us with His favor, protection, and provision through the fullness of our inheritance in Christ (Eph. 2:6-7). No testimony without the test
Good morning everyone, Happy Wednesday. I just had to share this. We had the most HECTIC 2 days on Sunday and Monday. This really was where the rubber met the road in terms of this journey of renewing my mind. And then the Lord broke through: I’ve been having a couple challenges in our real estate business. Then, to cut a long story short, I had someone threaten to open a case against me. They had no leg to stand on but it was super stressful. Then we’ve had 2 people delayed in paying which has only added to the stress. Edwina had an encounter with another parent which was really unnecessary and unpleasant. Well, that Monday morning Edwina and I spent time leaning into the Lord, FIGHTING for peace. He reminded me of Exodus 4:4 "The Lord will fight for you. You have only to hold your peace." Then Tuesday morning I felt like the Lord revealed what happened and 1 Peter 5:6-9 explains it perfectly. Here's what it says: 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm We both humbled ourselves to address the situations with the respective people and engaged them with humility. We then cast our anxiety onto Jesus, walking out in the peace He gives. We were vigilant to the enemy’s tactics. We stood steadfast holding on with faith. 3 things happened after this: 1. The challenges were resolved for both Edwina and I with the respective people. 2. The 2 buyers who haven’t been paying each came back independently of their own accord tell me their plan to pay, which will be soon. 3. We received a significant tax refund check in the mail. All in one day! God is indeed our vindicator, our strong tower and refuge. Thank you Jesus! I hope this encourages you today!

Amazing testimony man, I have a couple rentals and can certainly understand how stressful one of those challenges would be, let alone two! Thank you for sharing this and praying for God's protection around your assets.

Many believers silently fight the battle with lust out of fear of stigma. I built a place filled with resources to change that. 70k on Tiktok
