๐Ÿ”ฅRoast my DM onboarding
This is how I DM new members. Do you like how I do it? How would you do differently? ๐Ÿ”ด If they're offline - 1st message: Hey [name]. Welcome to my community. I'm very glad to have you here! - 2nd message: you can already submit a roast request or check this post to get situated and introduce yourself: https://www.skool.com/roast-promote-5332/community-playground. Let me know if you have any questions. - 3rd message: your [community, website, social profile - depending on what you have] are all fit for roasting in separate posts! ๐ŸŸข If they're online - 1st message: Hey [name]. Welcome to my community. How are you? - Develop a conversation, ask about their community, pain points and etc. Try to guide them in a personalized way to better use my community and maybe pitch premium/ vip. - If they dont answer I follow the offline script.

With much <3 and respect: As someone who just joined and got the DM's, the first message felt very welcoming. The second message lead surprisingly to a post not the "Where to start" classroom section. In there, i have all the information i need to know about VIP, what can be roasted etc. Therefore the 3rd and 4th message is imo kind of unnecessary if you'd link put the link into the second message. I prefer short and clear dm onboarding messages with a link what to do next so felt a bit overwhelmed ๐Ÿ™ˆ I like the warm tone in your messages and also the "Let me know if you have any questions".
Please roast my about page
I started my community 3 month ago. Niched down, worked on clear messaging and tweaked countless times my about page. Here you go... ROAST ME PLEASE!๐Ÿซถ https://www.skool.com/tailoredtalk/about

@Lau Brizuela Much love to you and i'm very grateful for your lengthily response. I already tweaked the copy and will change the images tomorrow. I checked your about page and your visuals follow a clear and structured flow. That gave me some ideas to make my visual identity more clear :D Thank you so much for your input. You helped me a lot. ๐Ÿซถ
Roast my community
Hi All I think it's time for a roasting. My community has been going for a couple of months and it's been slow going so far. Is it my community or something else https://www.skool.com/learn-english-and-explore-7475/about

All about Roast & Promote
What is a roast? Roasting is giving brutally honest opinions about someone or something. For the brutal part, we do have to establish some limits, as we can't be offensive or unhelpful. You can point out the flaws of other people's work but not insult the person behind it. I think that's a good line to establish. Give genuinely helpful advice, pointing out the flaws and giving an alternative for improvement. Make it fun! We all need to see the flaws in our ways to progress. Rules: - Only post roast requests. Go to the playground pined post for other kinds of comments. - Submit up to one type of roast a day - Don't spam. - Don't do CTAs or self promote unless you are Premium or VIP. - Even Premium or VIP need to do a roast before they promote themselves. Point out the problems in a detailed way and at the end sell yourself as a solution for them. Not just a "contact me here so I can talk about your website" kind of post, those will be deleted. Types of roast you can submit: - Roast my website: Any kind of website you have, but preferably landing pages. If you post unsafe or fradulent links, you will be baned. - Roast my Community: Post your skool's about page or the landing page for a community outside of Skool. - Roast my Profile: Social media profiles, profesional profiles, freelance profiles. - Roast my Content: Text content, images and designs or short videos. - Roast my Ideas: business ideas, content ideas, offer ideas. - Roast my pitch: post your sales pitch, be it as an add, bannner, text or video content. What will you get here? We have free memberships and paid ones. Click here to upgrade! ๐Ÿ‘‰ Free members - Post your website, community, content, business idea or professional profile to be roasted. - Compete weekly to be the best roaster and have their page at the top of the community for a whole week. - Participate in live events ๐Ÿ‘‰ Premium members ( 2 USD ) - Promote yourself after giving a roast. So you can provide your services as a solution to the problems they point out. How neat is that? You can get clients by engaging on comments instead of hustling to create content and waiting to be noticed - You will also be tagged by me to posts relevant posts for you to roast, if you agree on that. - You will have access to live recording and exclusive future content.

What a great place to get objective feedback from many eyeballs.
FREE VIP ACCESS
VIP members get me promoting their work, doing CTAs for them and can have classroom content and do live calls here. So they are basically co owners of this place and can use it freely to grow their brand, with me backing them up. I'm willing to give one free VIP access to someone. Here are the requirements: - Win Roaster of the Week at least once. @Ruben Plasmeijer @Jack Robinson @Mike Tielemans @Gus Gray are already eligible for this. - Refer the most ammount of people (starting from now, not after you win RoW). The people referred only count when they stop being lurkers. - After winning, provide me one piece of classroom content that will be valuable to this community. Right at the start of this community I gave free VIP access to some people who helped me a lot here, like @Eliot Payne @Shannon Boyer and @Mona Weathers . I'm already getting so much from some new people here that I want to help them further too. So this is an opportunity for that. I'll give the free VIP access by the end of the april. So 5 more people have the chance to win Roaster of the Week and compete.

Mine is too tiny yet for referrals but this is such a great way for engagement and community growth.
