Speaking on Stages Tip
When I speak, my goal isn’t just to motivate people. My goal is to collect coins and contacts. I want to leave the audience so excited that when I follow up, they’re ready for the next step. That’s why I never rely on just one touchpoint. Here’s my follow-up system: - First: My book - Second: My community - Third: My webinar - Fourth: A Visibility Strategy Call - Then: Consistent email follow-up that keeps providing value (working on a new series of 30 emails where they’ll get an email per day… yup per day and sometimes more than one) I never assume someone is going to invest $10,000 with me after hearing a 15- to 30-minute talk on someone else’s stage. And they’re definitely not going to follow me on Instagram and randomly send me money. The real money is made in the follow-up. Most speakers lose opportunities because they stop after one email or one message. Your follow-up should create multiple touchpoints that build trust, provide value, and keep you top of mind. The stage opens the door. The follow-up closes the sale. If you read this full tip DROP a comment so I know you got it. ❤️❤️❤️.

Hey VIPs of BPC! As many of you know, as a member, you get a little more behind-the-scenes insight as to tips and clarity behind posts. Yesterday, I posted a video of myself dancing with the certificate I received from the Atlanta Black Chambers, and this morning I shared a video of me walking across the stage to accept it. Now, let me be clear. Receiving this certificate doesn’t mean I’ve made any money from government contracts yet. It simply means I successfully completed a 16-week program, gained valuable knowledge, and was recognized for my commitment and hard work. But here’s what happened… Just from posting that certificate last night, someone reached out wanting to work with me and invest in my services. Why? Because RECOGNITION gets RECOGNIZED. I’m sharing this because I’m praying at least one person in this group truly catches what I’m saying. Many of you are receiving awards, media features, podcast interviews, speaking opportunities, certifications, and other forms of recognition, but you’re not sharing them. I understand that sometimes we don’t think those accomplishments are a big deal. We may not even care about the recognition ourselves. But your potential clients do. People want to work with people who are growing, learning, and being recognized for what they do. That certificate had nothing to do with me helping people gain visibility. What it did show was that I’m continually investing in myself, expanding my knowledge, and putting in the work. That builds trust. So if you’re speaking on a stage, post it. If you’re a guest on a podcast, post it. If you’re featured in a magazine or media article, post it. If you receive an award, post it. If you complete a certification or training, post it. Never assume people already know what you’re doing. Let them see your growth. Remember… recognition gets recognized. If you read this all the way through, drop a comment below. I want to make sure you’re catching what I’m putting down.
