"Nazz had them pretty eyes..."
Woohoo! Level 2! So, I'd better make the first post something deep and meaningful... Been thinking about doing lifestyle shots in/near fancy places for my Insta, and while contemplating where to shoot and how, I remembered a line by Lord Buckley (a hip cat back in the sixties; my favourite author, Spider Robinson, was a fan): "Nazz had them pretty eyes - he wanted ever'body to see through his eyes so they could see how pretty it was." ("Nazz" is the Nazarene - Jesus of Nazareth.) That collided with something folks talked about in the Off-Market Dating course, about how you want a woman to look at the photo and imagine herself there with you. And the thought occurred of almost asking through the photo, "Is this place as beautiful to you as it is to me?" I'm inviting her to look at the world the same way I do. Okay, sure, that's romantic. But still, it might help me (and you) take good shots.
