Neh 8..is beautiful read the entire chapter...Ezra the scribe read the Book of the Law of Moses...Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God--vs 6. And led the people in prayer, while lifting up their hands, they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground. all the people wept, when they heard the words of the Law..but Nehemiah said go your way eat, drink and send portions to those whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to the Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength...NKJV. In my notes is says the joy of the Lord is the joy that springs up in our hearts because of our relation to the Lord. It is a God-given gladness found when we are in communion with God...Strength here means "place of safety", a "refuge" or "protection'. 😍

@Sharisa Seabrook thank you 😊 This piece started off so different and ended up sitting for months with the words the next level of therapy. Recently life has thrown so many things at me that when I finally just finished it, added some purple oil and varnished, then the Lord met me..as I didn’t like it much..it didn’t seem “good enough” .. but when I stopped and listened, I heard Anxious for Nothing! My next level of therapy with Him.. is truly holding on to that word.. He is my Great Physician and Healer.
