The Teaching of the Eagle
One day, a majestic eagle, soaring high in the sky, was caught in a fierce storm. Struck by lightning, it lost its strength and fell into an old, dry well. Injured and trapped, the eagle cried out in pain, its sharp screeches echoing through the well. A farmer, passing nearby, heard the cries and peered into the well. Seeing the wounded eagle, he sighed and thought to himself, “This bird is too injured to fly again, and the well is already dry. It’s better to fill it and move on.” He called his neighbors to help, and they all brought shovels. Together, they began throwing dirt into the well to fill it. At first, the eagle cried out again, flapping its wings in panic. But after a few shovelfuls of dirt, something extraordinary happened. The eagle stopped crying. It began to shake off the dirt that landed on its wings, spreading them slightly and stepping onto the growing mound beneath it. With every new shovelful of dirt, the eagle repeated this process: shake it off, step up, and rise a little higher. The farmers, busy with their work, didn’t notice the eagle’s determination at first. But soon, to their amazement, they saw the eagle nearing the top of the well. With one powerful leap, the eagle spread its wings, caught the breeze, and soared into the sky once again. Remember these rules to be happy: 1. Free your heart from hate. 2. Free your mind of distractions. 3. Simplify your life. 4. Give more and expect less. 5. Dont be a hater. 6. Love more and shake the dirt, because in this life you have to be a solution, not the problem! Which one of those rules you need help with?
