Keeping Positive Community Vibes — Thanks For Bringing This To Our Attention
Happy Monday everyone! This isn't a post that we wanted to write but it's an important one... To be a part of our community here at BRANDMAN NETWORK all we ask is that you are kind towards each other and offer helpful, friendly advice. This doesn't mean that you can't offer constructive criticism but it needs to come from a place of support and positive energy! The reason we're bringing this up is that the member pictured below breached these guidelines on multiple occasions and has subsequently been removed from the community. We thank you for bringing this to our attention by reporting some of his posts and comments. If you ever feel like you are being bullied in this community or someone is constantly putting people down and being unhelpful please report them to us. Full instructions on how you can report someone can be found HERE. Have a great week everyone! Exciting announcements are on the way this month so stay tuned! 👀👊

@Sharoyce Antwan lmao yeah something definitely was off. I used to think he was a part of the damn brand man team the way he was in EVERY comment and how he would come off as a know it all. SMH 😂😂

Project Roll out
I’m working on releasing a hiphop tape soon. I’m best at making the music but not so much the roll out . I don’t want to just drop it and think it’ll do well . I know it doesn’t work like that . So I’m asking if anyone has any suggestions for a proper roll-out. Time frame, social media ideas , etc.

I appreciate you both for chiming in. Building my fan base is definitely what I’m focused on . I can’t do much without that so I’ll focus on building that . @Simone Stevens I think I’ll take your advice and promote one song from it first. I didn’t think I had a single per se but now thinking about it , I do have a song that would be good for this . Thanks again

Collaboration
I am looking for producers to work with, mostly online because I don't know many people in my city. the problem I'm facing is every producer is creating a sound that already exists and I'm trying to find my sound so I won't be perceived as a clone or copier. any tips on how I can connect with producers?

Hey I’m a producer amongst other things . I have sounds that are different. What kind of beats are you looking for ?? Rap,hip-hop, pop etc. Is there anyway I can hear what you have going on? I don’t mind working if the vines is right .

@Max White I totally agree. There’s talented and skillful people out here that are right next to us . That’s who we should build with. Create an organic relationship which hopefully will create a great sounding product in the end . That’s just my thoughts .
Music Engineer Versus
If you have the drive and are willing to learn mixing & mastering yourself, would you do it until you get to a point where you can hire an expert? Or would you build a team with a beginner music engineer, knowing your own mixes & masters would be just as good if not better.

Sometimes you just have to start where you are . If you can afford to hire an engineer that gives you the results you want , go for it . If you can do the job just as good if not better then keep doing that until it’s too much to handle . Then Get another engineer in there to balance the load with you.

@Jeff Craft I agree. Especially mastering . That’s takes a while to really be good
