Stop mass consuming bullshi*
We live in a world of endless swipes. TikTok, Tinder, Instagram, etc. constant motion, constant scrolling, constant consuming. But here’s the truth: 👉 You don’t get better at poker by swiping through content. 👉 You don’t learn by reading everything at once. 👉 The brain learns best when we take one or two big concepts and actually practice them. How This Applies to Poker Poker is the same. You can watch training videos, read hand histories, listen to coaches. But until you sit down and intentionally apply a concept, nothing sticks. Want to improve your 3-bets? Spend one week focused ONLY on 3-bet spots. Want to get better at MTTs? Run simulations AND play bubble spots in real time, noting every decision. Want to stop bleeding chips in the big blind? Study BB defense ranges, then apply them in every session until it feels natural. How This Applies to Skool Don’t treat this community like TikTok. Don’t scroll through posts, nod, and move on. Pick ONE lesson or takeaway, then apply it in your very next session. Watch a lesson → Apply one key move at the table that night. Read an article → Take notes, set a reminder, and review your own hands for that exact spot. Leave a question. Then another. Coaching call → Pick one concept to implement. Just one. Key Point Poker is not about cramming, It’s about stacking good habits. Learn a few things at a time. Apply them with focus. Strip away distractions. That’s how we turn consumption into growth
