I’ve noticed something interesting writing a winning Upwork proposal feels a lot like doing SEO. In SEO, if you target the wrong keywords, your page never ranks. On Upwork, if your proposal doesn’t align with the client’s language and needs, it simply gets ignored. As someone who works in SEO daily, I’ve seen how the right structure, keyword placement, and clarity completely change the outcome. The same principle applies to proposals clear structure, proper targeting, and highlighting value directly. What do you think? Do you also feel like proposal writing has the same logic as SEO?
